MassABOTA presents James N. Esdaile, Jr. Civility and Professionalism Award

BOSTON, June 14, 2012 - On Flag Day, June 14, 2012, the Massachusetts Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (“ABOTA”) hosted a reception at the Campbell Campbell Edwards & Conroy Boston offices in honor of the recipient of the first annual James N. Esdaile Jr. Civility and Professionalism Award. Presented to Thomas Federico, in memoriam, the award recognizes a member of the Massachusetts Chapter of ABOTA who exemplifies the best of the profession and promotes civil discourse and mutual respect in their daily trial practice. Approximately 75 people enjoyed a warm summer evening on Campbell Campbell Edwards & Conroy’s roof deck overlooking Boston Harbor to remember two remarkable lawyers with their families, colleagues and fellow members and guests of ABOTA.

About ABOTA - The American Board of Trial Advocates is a national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the right to civil jury trial provided by the Seventh Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. First and foremost, ABOTA works to uphold the jury system by educating the American public about the history and value of the right to trial by jury.  Campbell Campbell Edwards & Conroy ABOTA members include James Campbell, David Rogers and Michelle Schaffer.
