James Campbell presented at the ABA/TIPS 2012 Emerging Issues in Motor Vehicle Products Liability Litigation conference
March 2012
Jim Campbell started the program on Day 3 with his presentation entitled “It’s More than Pointing Out Whose Hourly Rate is Higher: Cross Examining Experts in Catastrophic Injury Cases.” The easy shots are hourly rates, “never taken a plaintiff case,” “never testified a product is defective,” or “never designed a product.” But what about the tough ones? Jim discussed difficult situations he has confronted and how best to overcome or neutralize them in the course of cross examination.
Tiffany Alexander was a member of the Planning Committee for this year’s conference and also led a pre-conference workshop session entitled “Preparing the Company Witness for Deposition.”
