Biography
Curtis concentrates his practice in product liability and premises liability defense with a particular focus on the defense of automobile manufacturers. His diverse practice also includes professional liability, insurance coverage, construction litigation, commercial disputes, motor vehicle claims, and other complex litigation matters. Curtis has represented clients ranging from global automobile manufacturers, national and international insurance carriers, and transportation and logistics companies to local businesses, professionals, and individuals. Curtis’s pragmatic and client-centered approach to litigation has allowed him to achieved favorable results for clients both in court and before other adjudicative bodies across New England.
Prior to joining the firm, Curtis practiced litigation in the Boston area and served in a judicial clerkship for the judges of the Connecticut Superior Court. He received a full academic merit scholarship to attend New England School of Law (J.D., cum laude), where he served as an editor of the New England Law Review, was an executive officer of Phi Delta Phi, and received several academic awards. Curtis received his undergraduate degree from McGill University (B.A., joint honors degree). Curtis is admitted to practice law in state and federal court in Massachusetts and Connecticut.
