Nordensved v. Mini Coach of Boston, Inc.
Plaintiff sustained a neck injury in a bus accident. The bus company admitted liability, so the only issue at trial was the amount of damages to be awarded. Plaintiff claimed constant pain and cognitive impairment. Defendants contended that plaintiff's injury was a minor neck strain that resolved shortly after the accident. Defendants further contended that plaintiff's increasing use of narcotic medications beginning 2 years after the accident caused any cognitive impairment.
