Canaan v. Crown Equipment Corporation

Plaintiff was injured while operating a Crown Stand-Up Rider forklift at a warehouse. Plaintiff backed into a rack which entered the compartment of the forklift and pinned plaintiff between the horizontal rack beam and the control console of the forklift. Severely and permanently injuring him. Plaintiff alleged design defect negligence and failure to warn adequately of the risks of use of the forklift.
