Featured Case: Gosule v. American Automobile Association, Inc.
When a young woman on Cape Cod was on her way home from work, she had car troubles that forced her to pull over and call the American Automobile Association (AAA) for assistance. While she was waiting, she was approached by a man in a truck who asked if he could give her a ride somewhere. She accepted and was raped and murdered by this man.
The claim against AAA was that they did not get to the young woman in a timely manner which led her to accept a ride from a stranger.
