Campbell Campbell Edwards & Conroy has worked on behalf of virtually every automobile manufacturer defending claims involving asbestos. Other clients include Navistar Industries, AIG, USX, and Everlasting Valve Company. In asbestos defense cases Campbell Campbell Edwards & Conroy is proud to have served as lead trial counsel for General Motors Corporation, Ford Motor Company, and DaimlerChrysler AG for frictions products cases filed in New England. Most of these cases involve mesothelioma, and our attorneys have developed substantial working knowledge of toxicology, epidemiology, environmental medicine, occupational medicine, preventive medicine, industrial hygiene, pathology, and engineering.

In addition to traditional “friction” cases, we have significant experience defending asbestos marine cases and recently defended several clients in an admiralty asbestos action brought by 1000 plaintiffs against 93 defendants. In the course of our work, we have organized our asbestos department to streamline case handling and better utilize technology to manage a large and diverse docket. Along with expert handling and trial preparation, we have coordinated large group settlements with plaintiff firms in New England and throughout the country. Our background and our firm's resources are uniquely well situated to assist our clients in this unique practice.
